Livetrack, stopping minutes into a ride

You are not alone. I posted in the forum some days ago the same problem. Yesterday the Edge 830 even froze and entered into pause just when the livetrack stopped working (checked with screenshots from people that were following me), I realized some kilometers ahead into the ride. I cannot understand that the device has gone worse after each firmware upgrade since I bought it 10 months ago (i also miss sound notifications!), but friends tell me that it's always like that. I guess I'll have to do a factory reset as I had to do in version 5.10, if a lot of problems were solved back then, it might work again.

Same issue here.  About 2-3 miles in, the track stops.  My wife came looking for me last time since she thought something had happened.  It's better not to use it at all if it causes more angst to use it.

Same issue here when i start the livetrack from my phone (iphone 8, ios14.2). When i start the livetrack from my 830 everything is fine.

I've not tried that, always started it from my phone, I'll give that a go, cheers

Garmin edge 520 with iphone 12 mini

Live Track worked for the last 3 days with rides between 2 and 3 hours without issues for me.

same issue on my edge 520, they stop working after a while
