vibrations when starting an activity

my edge 830 used to vibrate when i started an activity. it has recently stopped doing that. does anyone know how i can turn it back on? thank you

The Edge 830 does not have a vibration motor, so I cannot speak to what experience from before you're referencing. The current experience you're describing is working as it should.

I dont think there is a vibration module in the edge series. It won't help if the device is mounted to the handlebar.

Did you use a watch before and are mixing those two?

Sorry, I mean it makes a sounds when you press start. It actually started making the sound again. But how do I control that feature? Thank you.
