Loading course files-limitations?

Can you load multiple .tcx course files (from RWGPS) at the same time by dragging them into the New Files folder? With my Edge 800 you could only load one at a time and have them properly show up in courses.

    Multiple files works.

    You could have tried this yourself.    I know this because I tried it myself.  It would have only have taken a couple of minutes to see if it worked or not instead of waiting for hours for a reply.

    Trying things like this won't break the device.

    Yes I know but last time I did this on my 800 the second file was corrupted. That is why I asked first this time!!!

    Don't be so scared of trying things. A corrupted route file won't hurt anything. Just delete and carry on with no issue. I tried it so I found out the answer. 

    Playing with the options and seeing what works helps you learn things.

    You won't break your Garmin by playing with the options or copying multiple route files onto it.

    Not sure what you mean by "corrupted". So, it happened the last time? Have you loaded multiple courses before? If it happened once, maybe, it wasn't caused by loading multiple files.

    I loaded multiple courses at the same time with the 800 many, many times without any problems. Lots of people do it. Its a normal thing to do.

    There's no reason it wouldn't work because it's not really  any different than doing it one at a time.

    Keep in mind that the course names have to be distinct in the first 15 characters.

    I've never had any problem "loading" multiple course files onto any Garmin Edge product. This includes the Edge 800. My conjecture is that you were quick on the draw and didn't properly "eject" the device. I invite you to try again, being patient and methodical.
