Garmin Edge 830 Frequent Updates

I have a new Garmin Edge 830 and I most of the time use my laptop with Garmin Express 7.1.0.0 to update it via the USB cable.

How often does Garmin realizes updates because I see like daily 2 to 4 updates available (always), not sure if there are different or are some updates that don't go through ?

Or maybe I am missing the correct way to do this updates.

I also often check on the unit itself to see if there are any updates and no new updates.

Does Garmin Express which updates specifically it is trying to install?

Also, you can check out this link for info on how to clear out your sync queue in Garmin Connect in case there is something just stuck in limbo there.
