Edge 830 keeps losing powermeter reading.

Can connect powertap pedals, but it only keeps the power meter reading for a short period of time (less than a minute). I then go back to the sensors and the connection has lost, but then can't reconnect, and get message connection failed. Any idea how to keep connection? Have replaced batteries in PM with brand new but still not working. Have the connection to PM using ANT+ as had previous issue with only half the power reading using BLE.

Check that the software on the pedals is the latest

Have now updated software on pedals, but still have issues. Edge won't connect to pedals at start of ride, but sometimes connects part way through for a few minutes before losing connection again. Could this be an issue with the Edge itself.

If the 830 is reliably picking up other ANT+ sensors (HR, speed, etc.) that suggests there might be an issue with the pedals. Have you contacted support for the pedals? I believe that's SRAM/Quarq now.
