After I upgraded the Edge 830 to fw 6.20, I noticed a possible racing condition between different notifications on the device screen.
While I was approaching a sharp turn, I got a LAP Complete notification and while this notification was on the screen, I got another notification (device beep), which from the route, I know it was because of a sharp turn ahead (as I had that beep/notification before at that spot). Because the LAP Notification took a while to clear from the screen, I never saw the sharp turn screen alert.
I could obviously see the approach to the turn, but I would suggest as an improvement for possible future firmware upgrade that device screen notifications are not allowed into a racing condition and maybe prioritize any safety related alert to always be on the screen first.
