Most likely also for this update a phased rollout through Garmin Express as I did not succeed. Neither through GC mobile.

A pity Matthew did not make it to a good habit to make the download available at this very forum

Today (15th September) still no update through GE....

Check the 830 itself.

I hooked my 830 to GE a few days ago, but didn't get any update notifications.

I randomly checked my 830 today and noticed the GPS had been updated to 4.50

Oops...you're right. It happened unnoticed.....

Same here. I just checked the 830/system/about/copyright info and my 830 is also using GPS 4.50. I have no idea when it updated itself.
