calibrate Altimeter like FR945 with DHM?

since a while it's possible to calibrate altimeter on Forerunner 945 with DHM under the sensor menue, is there a possibility on Edge devices, where is it hidden or it don't exist?

Since i calibrate my FR945 with this option, it calibrates everytime when i start a running activity before it starts and the altimeter is 100% OK

i can't find english descriptions on Garmin Support sites, only german for MARQ:

The only ways to do it on an Edge are by using the calibrate elevation function which uses GPS elevation to set the elevation value or by starting at or passing a saved location with an elevation value.

thats interesting, why the big Edge haven't this feature and a small sportwatch can do this, anyway, i think this feature could be easily add by Garmin, or?

it works really good on the Forerunner, i am totally surprised!

You can set the elevation for a location such as where you start your rides. It will then adjust elevation when you start the ride (push the button) at that location . I have done this for the top of my driveway and it adjusts the elevation each time I push the start button there.

thanks for the tips, anyway strange why Garmin handle it different on their devices!
