Edge 830 will not show BLE sensors

I have 2 sets of 4iii dual power meters. I want to try BLE as I get drop outs sometimes to see if it is more stable.

On the Edge 830, they will never show a BLE connection on searching. Both power meters connect fine via Bluetooth on my phone.

Is there anything I need to do to make them show up as BLE on the 830?

    Do not pair them to your phone otherwise the Edge wont see them because only one connection is allowed via BT (via ANT+ You can connect the 4iiiis to multiple devices)

    Thank you. I did try this as well.

    it appears something to do with the edge 830. I tried on a 1030 Plus and the BLE connection showed instantly in adding sensors. Will try resetting the 830..

    Just to add an update after using 1030 plus now.

    • 1030 plus is way more stable on ANT+, on the 830 I always had HRM and Power meter drop outs across bikes. With the 1030 plus this has not happened at all, which is a relief as I rely on power and HRM MI whilst training
    • 830 does not find BLE but 1030 plus does fine

    I am keeping the 1030 plus as my main for training (screen size helps too). Will reset the 830 to keep for commuting and see if that helps
