Erratic speed readings on my Edge 830 since FW 6.00

Hello,

I get serious Erratic speed readings on my Edge 830 since FW 6.00. This is directly from GPS, I do not have any sensor.
Speed jumps from 40 to 10 then back to 20 in a matter of second without speed change from the bike...

This behavior also happens with full GPS coverage, clear sky and not obstacles (trees...)

Is it normal?

I tried all gps modes and same issue...

GPS is new and I did 2 rides with 5.50 without this issue occuring.

And i could compare with my Fenix 6X, speed was totally smooth on the watch. Same ride.

Jumps of that magnitude using GPS are not normal. What is normal is variation of ~2-4 mph or ~3-6kph due to position noise inherent to the GPS signals. Wheel sensors are intended to eliminate this.

I understand that clearly... I wonder however why this change between 2 FW.... I tried to reboot, reset device... nothing changes. I should maybe send it back to Garmin... 2 weeks after purchase

Do You have 4.50 GPS firmware or old 2.90? Check it in settings-about-copyright menu. Share a FIT file pls. (I know what is the problem, a new device wont be better , it is fw related issue )
