Edge 830 new firmware 6.0 , reboot during activity

During the first ride , after the new 6.0 update , the device rebooted twice.

i can understand from other post this is the worst release published.

Will Garmin provide an update , quickly , to fix all this issue ???

Mine will do both. Reboot and/or freezes, and I'm just riding. If it freezes I can hold down the power button and it will reboot and it will unlock where I left off. However on my last ride I did that and it seemed to be working ok but when I got home and uploaded the ride the total data was correct showing a total of 100 miles for 5 hrs 13 mins but the detailed data below the only showed dat for 25 miles.

You almost certainly have a corrupted filesystem. See this article for a possible fix

Before I saw your post I had enough of the locking up and after the issues with the ride summary I went ahead and reset the 830. I rode the next day with both my 830 and 910xt running simultaneously and had no issues with the 830. So hopefully by resetting the 830 will have fixed any issues and I won't have any problems going forward. I will continue to use both the 830 and 910xt until I feel the 830 is really fixed.

I did run the CMD on the 830 after the reset and it found no issues.
