Had the same issue. The GPS Software was Stuck on 2.90 (with a "!" on the info screen) and Galileo was gone. Since on the edge there was nothing in the update-menu, I connected the Edge to Garmin Express…
Nothing about intensy minutes, nothing about the faulty physio true up. The device will remain in the box.
intensity minutes have nothing to do with Edge 830, it's part of a Garmin watch…
and True Up without Physio is something different, if you have multiple activity trackers (Edge isn't a Activity Tracker):

Got it by syncing my phone after my ride this afternoon! Wish I was always in the first 20% of phased rollouts.

Whats wrong on Physio True Up, it works great for me?
Yes as Garmin (and obviously you) see it . They promot the watches with intensy minutes, recomended of the american health organization blabllabla. But not so important for a cyclist, or what? Regarding Physio true up, not even close the numbers on my fenix 6 , so you must be very fortuned. Search the forum, and you will find other that have the same problem.
Intensity minutes aren't a part of Physio True Up too, think you understand something wrong!
i record my rides with 830 and i wear only my Forerunner 945 without starting a Activity and Intensity minutes are OK then!
So you have to search why your Fenix 6 don't report Intensity minutes! (a possibility are wrong HR Zones for none running or cycling zones, they are named secondary zones or so)
Woow, smart. And you think that’s ok? First you buy a excpensiw watch, so you buy a edge, after you must use both to collect intensy minutes. Possible you think thats’s ok, i don’t. Another thing is that the fenix is useless in a activity without external strap, if i use it on the arm it give steps, if i use it on the handlebar i have to start a workout and delete when i am finish. Witch make the statistic even more rubbish with the socalled true up. But if you have all statistic’s in line, included anaerob and aerob high/low numbers, training load and VO2max and recovery time, then you can consider yourself as a winner in the lottery.
