Edge 830 BLE and BT connection.

When connecting my edge 830 to my phone and go riding it hardly ever seems to display calls or messages on the edge. Sometimes does but most often doesn’t.
I notice that in the list of Bluetooth devices on phone there is edge 830 BT and edge 830 BLE.

BLE is hardly ever connected. 
I’ve done forget device and repair and it may fix the problem for the first ride after repair. But then never connects again.

    Pairing and connection is managed through the Connect app on the phone.  When you pair your 830, are you going through the pairing process in the Connect app?   I had trouble early on so deleted the Connect app, forgot pairing on the phone and Edge, re-installed the app and went through the process from the beginning.  That worked for me.
