So I finally got around to using the strava routes brought over by GC sync instead of through IQ on my edge 830. I would have thought that strava live segments would work on the route given this new interoperability, but alas they do not, at least for me. Has anyone else encoutered this? On the edge 830 the routes acutally load as Garmin routes not strava routes. When I log into GC online, the routes now appear on my course but are annotated as coming from strava.
This is especially problematic since loading routes from strava though IQ is not fully function yet (as of yesterdays multiple attempts).
At the end of the day I no longer have live segments, at least until the fallout from the hack settles.
