Display Quality blurry/sharpness

Hi all,

I have just received my new Edge 830 and have been configuring it. I have been quite happy with it thus far but have some doubts with regards to screen clarity. I find it to be a little bit blurry/unsharp - a bit familiar to watching tv when your eyes are tired. Does any one else recognize this? I compared it with my iPhone next to it which is crystal clear.

Keen to learn from your experience!

Lines across the display like in that photo are not normal. Contact support.

A little video to show what it looks like on camera. It appears much less crisp in reality.

Hi Geert,

I also recently purchased a Garmin Edge 830 (first purchase of a Garmin product).

My screen also seems blur, in particular the text on a white background. Annoying, a bit uncomfortable but not dramatic.

I don't know if this is a defect or if I am used to better screen in general (i.e. iPhone / laptop).

Were you able to compare your unit against other units, to check whether you had a defect?

I also noticed that, depending on the angle of vision, the text might appear more or less blur. Are you experiencing the same?
