Edge 830 Bike Alarm - no sound?

When my bike alarm is set off there is no sound at all, just the symbol flashing red. That is certainly not going to scare anybody away. Does anyone else have this issue?

Yes.. it's a worthless "feature."

Indeed this feature is worthless. Unless you're in a soundproof booth, you might not hear the alarm. Hyperbole, but you get the idea how inane this feature is.
