Some Strava segments do not show up on Edge 830 or have length of 0 meters

Hi,

on my Edge 830 (Software Version 5.50) some of the segments from my Strava list do not show up.

There are even segments that seem to be downloaded to the device, but appear as "empty" segments with a length of 0 meters:

(for this photo I deliberately cleared my segment list in Strava except for the segment in question in order to make the problem clear).

I could reproduce the same behavior on my older Edge 520.

Neither synchronizing the Edge with Garmin Express from Win10 instead with Garmin Connect (Android) nor reinstalling Garmin Connect helped so far.

yes, i have the same 0m lenght one. some segments are not shown due to safety reason (downhill segments, so everything below ~ -0.x% ) but that is not a bug.

yes, i have the same 0m lenght one. some segments are not shown due to safety reason (downhill segments, so everything below ~ -0.x% ) but that is not a bug.

I put more segments with negative slopes on my list to check this safety "feature" and all of them seem to be represented by a single 0 m segment on the device.

Do you know where this feature is documented or did you draw that conclusion based on your experience? I can remember that sloping segments used to be shown on my Edge 520 a couple of months ago (at least as live segment - I don't know whether it was shown on the list), so this must be new.
