Purchased an Edge 830 device 1 month ago. After 1st software update was succesfully installed, sync issues started with I-phone 6S (IOS 13.5).
That issue was solved with resetting bluetooth settings, but after a 2 hr bike ride, the device will not connect synchronize with iphone.
Looked like device is busy doing something. After a while only a GARMIN logo was visible but it did not respond any longer.
I read on the website that the device can be reset by pressing both power and lap button (bottom left).
I connected the device via the original USB cable to a laptop. I was able to connect. 2 downloads are available: software and maps.
It looks like to software update has been installed, but I am not able to install the software as the USB link disconnects very quicky after connection. Device goes back to charging battery.
What is causing this and how can this be resolved.
