After some rides with 830 I'm wondering about some things.
1. Speed sensor
Why the *** it not override gps speed?
When I'm riding MTB on stiff slopes device still pausing for a second.
No - disabling autopause isn't a solution.
...and those beeps over n over
I'm shocked it works that way...
2. Tones
It should be categorized for notifications/alerts/navigation/others.
With speed issue, enabled notifications and alerts I'm like a freakin' orchestra.
3. Alerts
Why drink/eat alert size couldn't be like notification?
When I'm navigate it's annoying to have fullscreen alert and missing turns.
I'm wondering how hard is to make an icon or text without background?
Maybe 75% opacity.
4. Customized alerts / timing.
Drink/eat alert is visible for couple seconds.
If tones are enabled it's easier to notice.
Without tones - alert is gone after couple seconds.
An option "tap to dismiss" could be great.
Or maybe customized timing? 2/5/10/30s (and tap do dismiss).
5. Tones on/off
Shortcut button for tones after slide down?
UX is important.
6. Definately there's some more...
Wondering is there a chance that anyone from Garmin reads that
and update x20 and x30 series with that improvements ;)
