Garmin Training Plans not syncing to Edge 830

I'm having the same problem.  I had a  training plan working fine for a while and then deleted it and tried to add another plan.  The old plan cleared from the Edge, but the new plan never synced over from Garmin Connect.

My problem ended up being that u cannot schedule a plan to start the same day you are scheduling it. If I moved the start date out one day ahead, it would properly setup as a plan. 

Hmm.  I have mine schedule to start a few days from now, but it doesn't appear on the Edge training calendar.

Same issue here. battled for several hours the other day adding removing from calendar, syncing through phone, garmin express, removing device from connect, re adding etc etc nothing seemed to help and when viewing device in connect online it said last sync time was the day before despite having just sync'd! Eventually it did get the schedule but i have no idea what fixed it in the end. very frustrating for a device of this cost!

I think there is the same issue with Training Plans from TrainingPeaks (posted this in another case already). 

In GarminConnect and even on my fenix 6 the Workouts do appear but not on the Edge :( 

Think this starts with the latest firmware 5.50 ... More and more anoyed I will try it tomorrow again (renaming, moving etc...)

Your mileage may very, but here's the last thing Garmin Product support asked me to try, and then what I actually did:

Garmin support said:  If you could you edit your upcoming workout for me and test something.  (select Edit, change a number or date which the workout occurs, change it back, hit Save, then see if they get Calendar to show in their GC Web sync queue). If does, sync with the Edge and let me know if you see your calendar on it or not once it's done. 

I wasn't exactly sure how to interpret this, but here's what I did and reported back:  I had a training plan scheduled to start next Monday -- "Metric Century Phase 2: Build".  This is what was not showing up before.  Since you message below mentioned "workout", I thought I'd just try to schedule a single workout session for tomorrow.  I created the workout from scratch and then added it to the calendar.  I did this on GC Web.  Next I confirmed that the same workout showed up on my GC mobile training calendar, and then woke up the Edge.  After the sync was complete both the individual workout I added for tomorrow as well as the entire "Metric Century Phase 2: Build" planned showed up on the Edge Training Plan calendar.  Finally, I removed the dummy workout from tomorrow's calendar on GC Mobile.  On the next sync, the Edge training calendar also removed tomorrow's workout, and all of the training plan workouts are still there.

So It seems I got a future training plan to show up on my Edge 830 by adding a next-day single workout.

Hi, adding an additonal workout direct in the garmin connect calender works... well a little bit which may sound strange :)

With one additional workout nearly the complete 6 weeks training plans gets pushed to the Edge (still some day´s are missing in the Edge calender :( ). 

Tried it with another "placeholder" workout, waited till the Edge synced again, nearly half of the planed workouts were gone again. 

I´m frustraded, not my job to find the best procedure to push my planes to the Edge, this should work flawlessly ...

Agree.  It should just work

same problem with the edge 1030. Used your workaround and got 4 weeks of the original training plan. Thank you for the partial fix. I'll leave it until the 4 weeks are up and try another fake workout insertion.

I have the 530 and I have the same issue. and garmin does not listen or give us a solution. :/
