the 830 freeze during a lap!

today at the 3 interval with my TT bike the unit freeze ! and i have to power off and then power on to make the unit work again!

this is the 1 time that i have that issue! and the worst off all my today training was f@ up !!!!!

v5.50 ant+ power /di2 /speed

hi,

i bought my 830 in april...

the first month, i had several times this issue (even on the same ride).

i was ready to give the 830 back (and get a new one in place), but i discover something when i change my bike.

my first bike had a cadance sensor GSC 10 (the very old one), the second bike a power meter Vector 2. with the second bike, no problem with the 830.

i install on my second bike also an GSC10 (this came from my indoor-trainer bike) and did some tests. there were no problems in the beginning, until one day I rode on cobblestones and the unit freeze again. I discover that the magnetic holder was a bit displaced and put it right on place. after that, no problem again for a while.

my first bike had a crank problem and therefor the magnetic isn't on the right place => that give the freeze unit issue.

i read that the GSC isn't compatible with the 820, and maybe also with the 830. but when mounted correctly, it's working...

conclusion : it's maybe a sensor problem that give a freez unit
