No Update … available

I had a Garmin Edge 830 … out of the box .. and it started directly with updating itself to firmware 5.50

Because of GPS failures i've to swap the device for an other one.

Now the new device, it has firmware 5.20 and didn't update directly and when cheking for updates it says ''No Updates" .. strange

still firmware 5.20

is 5.50 rejected ?
