830 strava live segments issue

whilst using the live segments the timer will have me around 30 seconds up on a kom and then randomly i'm 30 seconds or so down then up then down throughout a segment of 4-5 minutes when the segment is finished i'm usually somewhere in the middle , so the live feedback on screen has been useless!

    I've always had similar results myself, even back when using the 520 Plus. The times and start/stop positions on the road never seem to be in sync.

    I used the 5.48 beta yesterday on a segment during a looped ride. I beat my PR, but the segment timer didn't auto stop and register it, until I was about to start the segment again at the end of the loop.

    Which meant all the other segments didn't show on the 830 during the ride.

    This seems to be "typical". I gave up and just put the lap timer and lap avg speed on my segments screen, then I hit the lap button as soon as the segment starts. If you know the KOM speed you can pace yourself.
