Problem with map in MTB profile

The map in my mtb profile seems really dark. Also when creating a new mtb profile (from template (not a copy from existing)). Map is dark. For the road biking cycling, map looks good. And also when creating a new template from toad cycling, the map is ok.

Who can tell which option I’m overlooking?

the first screenshot looks like night mode on. You can reset this in the settings

Indeed, night mode has an impact on this topic. But for both previous screenshots, night mode is on (I use standard night mode) and there is a difference between the maps.

When I put on always day mode:

MTB map:

road cycling map:

so also with day mode there is a difference, there is no "green" on the MTB map...

In the mean time, I've found that this is because in the MTB profile > going to navigation > routing > routing mode ==> setting is mountain biking.

When I change this setting to for example road cycling or gravel riding, the map looks as in the second screenshot (after changing, switching short the profile) screenshots (with the green).

For me it's strange that when selecting a navigation mode, the map changes... Could it be this is a bug? Or what is the reason that the looks of the map changes when choosing mountain biking?

(and especially when you are mounting biking, it's nice to see when you are riding in the green).

If you set the ride type to "Mountain" is uses a custom color setting for the maps. This is why it has changed.

I would guess so that it easier to see trails when off road.

Hi guys!
Finally I found it by myself. It is very simple.
Go to:

Menu > Settings > Activity Profiles, select a profile, and select Navigation > Routing -> Routing Mode.

There you have to change it from "Mountain bike" to "cycling on unpaved roads".
THAT IS ALL!
Now the map looks like on my road cycling profile.
Let me know if it helps on your devices also!

For some reason Garmin have changed the names of this in 5.50 at least on my 830.

I set mine to 'Cycling on Mixed Surfaces' which I think is the same as the unpaved roads option.
