Garmin 830 will not reset

Tried adding a route from Strava to the Garmin 830.  Now, the 830 is frozen and will not reset.  It is stuck in the start up screen.  Attempts to reset multiple times has not fixed the problem.

    Try force mounting to a computer and then remove whatever is in the NewFiles folder

    Force to Mass Storage -
    Turn unit off.

    Hold the lap/reset button while plugging the unit into the USB.

    Continue holding the lap/reset for 30 seconds and the unit should go to mass storage.
