Covid Track

Hi everybody, I hope everybody is safe out there.

Into those covid times we have to ride on a different way to stay close to home, the solution is to ride the same track several times, I try a few things to set up the device to keep my route, count one lap and restart the track so that I could ride a kind of criterium in an area around my home.

The only thing I could do now is restart each time I passed my home, is there a way to ride my lap and each time restart the guidance, not to found my way of course but give the usual info like for ex. distance to end.

I do not try it yet, but I draw into rwgps the same track several times so that I reach the correct distance I ride usually , even if it works is not that convenient to draw. I hope I made me understanding !?

Thank you, keep safe

  • Staying close to home might be good.  Around here, we're under lockdown but are still permitted to ride/walk/hike outdoors if we practice social distancing.  Rather than ride around my home, which is in a populous suburban area, I go ride in much less populous areas where there are many fewer people out and about.

  • I like to give a little feedback on this post.
I can confirm, when you create a route on the same track that you want to ride several times, you have to draw (in my case with RWGPS) at last the number of lap you want to do.
The 830 will work perfectly with turn by turn, distance to next and end and a screen each time you accomplish à lap, etc ... nothing to do or push on.
Of course you have also  to configure Auto features; Auto Lap Enable and Trigger by position; Lap at start, into the unit

    Keep it save
