History not showing anymore

Hello guys.

Just today I realized that my 830 unit no longer displays my rides when going through history. Before It will show a list of all my rides now it only shows one ride one old ride and that's it.

Unit works fine and it uploads automatically to connect each ride when I hit save. It just won't show the history on the unit.

Any help is appreciated.

Mine appears to be doing the same. It only shows a selection of 'indoor' rides which have come from other sources, i.e. Zwift. Nothing that has actually been recorded on the device itself is showing in the history?

Just found the answer via another post. The device has a limit of only being able to 'deal' with 200 activities. Once you get to that number wierd stuff happens as you're seeing. If you delete some of the files from Garmin\Activities then it'll come to life again.

You can always download the original .fit file from Garmin Connect should you need it in the future

I'm having this problem with only a dozen rides in history. It stopped saving them on May 30.

Have you checked the number of files on the device in the Garmin\Activities folder? I'm wondering if there are a large number of files there, even if they don't actually all show up on the History page on the device itself?

Have you been riding indoors during lockdown and not on the latest firmware? Your date/time might be out, if so try setting to a profile with GPS and leaving it outside until it gets a fix, or updating to the latest firmware which syncs time over bluetooth and wifi.

Same problem. In my case it takes a long time to save and upload the rides
