Not powering down all the way?

I am having the same issue described above. If I catch it it seems that it happens when the power symbol never leaves the screen when I do the normal power down procedure. This 830 is only a few months old. Garmin really should fix this! Going to start looking at returning these units for me and my wife and go to wahoo. Garmin follow up just doesn’t seem to indicate that they care. 

  • Former Member Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the Edge 830's. This issue has been addressed and fixed in an upcoming software release. If you should happen to experience the issue again please press and hold the power key on your device for up to 30 seconds. This will soft reset the unit and it should be able to power on and back off successfully after doing so. Doing this will not erase any of your data.

    Okay, thank you for the follow-up do you know how soon this software release will be?
