Heart rate data from Instinct Watch on Edge?

Is it any way to view and record heart rate data from my Garmin Instinct watch on the Garmin Edge? Pairing both devices with one phone and Garmin Connect not solve the question: I can't see HR data in my training even after it was finished and synced.

Set your Instinct to broadcast HR over ANT+ so you can pair it on your Edge as a heart rate sensor.

Go to settings - sensors - heart rate and activate broadcasting. You can set up a shortcut for this function to upper right button, so you don’t need to go deep inside menu every time you go biking.

My watch seems to be broadcasting HR to phone via bluetooth. Can it simultaneously send HR to Edge on ANT+, or only one connected device at a time for the watch?

If the watch can broadcast HR via BT and ANT+ simultaneously then yes. There are no connection limits if you use ANT+.

Yep that Instinct Watch is hard to operate and set
