Add POIs to Edge 830

Hi all,

I was wondering if it's possible to add POIs to the Edge 830, preferably in batch.

e.g., I would like to add a long list of public water tap point, where I could refill my bottles on longer rides. Thus, I would like to be able to find the nearest available on the go. Any suggestions?

OSM based maps show most public water fountains and public taps. If you see any that are missing, it helps everyone if you can update the OSM maps with the location of the missing water fountain POI. There are batch tools for OSM but you need to be careful doing that as you could inadvertently duplicate data that's already there. I can see that problem already on the maps in my local area.

To find a water fountain, go to the POI menu on the 830, go to All POIs and search for "Water" - I use Openfietsmap Lite which stores a lot of POIs for cycling and it's been a life saver when refilling the water bottle.
