Cycling Dynamics screen with non-Garmin pedals

Hi all,

More of an observation than a problem. I have Favero Assioma pedals with an Edge 830 running v4.10. I noticed that the centre panel which would normally show Pedal Centre Offset (PCO) has been replaced with simple power panel with average and max data. In the numbers and text a scrolling bar appears. I suspect that the device knows when it connected to Garmin pedals or not and changes the screen accordingly, as non-Garmin pedals don't provide PCO data. Has anyone else had this?

Correct. The power meter needs to declare that it supports PCO data . If it does not then the Edge replaces the PCO diagram with a power plot.

This was a fairly recent change made by Garmin to support the Favero pedals.

Yeah. The Assioma update to support this came out a month ago. Use the Assioma app to check and update the pedal firmware and see if that fixes it.

FYI, the Assioma don't support PCO
