Update from GPS Chipset 2.42 Beta to 2.50 Release , Tipp

I was on GPS Chispse 2.42 Beta.

GPS Chipset 2.50 Release Update did load over Express (GUP3107.GCD was after that in the Garmin\RemoteSW - Folder)

But the GPS Update didn't start. So i put back the Original 006B310700_230.GCD (renamed to 006B310700.GCD)

After ejecting form my Desktop the Update to 2.50 start.

Interesting... I was also on the Beta. I plugged into Express and synced and when I disconnected it updated the GPS firmware right away

My update hasn't worked either. Both 006B310700.GCD and GUP3107.GCD are in my RemoteSW folder..

Try deleting both the GCD files and re-synching your device with either Garmin Express or your phone.

I connected with GPS 2.42 Beta with Garmin Express: no message on update(s), although syncing (no rides to sync though as that was already done through 830 WiFI) appeared to take some time...

After unplugging the 830 it started updating the GPS 2.50.

I'm not super savvy on the software side of things, this won't mess anything up?

I shouldn't mess anything up. Just make sure to delete only the 006B310700.GCD and GUP3107.GCD files from the remoteSW directory of your unit.
