Has anyone been able to disable the sharp turn warning when navigating on the 830?

I've tried several times to turn off the sharp turn warning but it doesn't seem to work.  At least I'm assuming that's what the large warning label is on the bottom of the screen when I come to a turn.  I only says Warning...

  • Nope. Always comes up, even at low speeds, on 90 degree plus turns. It's turned off in all my navigation profiles. About as effective as turning off "recalculation". Varia is the only thing keeping me in the Garmin ecosystem.

  • After installing the 5.50 firmware a lot of the features seem to work better for me.   But this issue still exists.  I don’t seem to be able to disable it.  Actually I would prefer that it works properly rather than disabling it.  A warning for an unexpected sharp turn is useful. But not when I’m at a corner and getting the expected TBT to turn (this works much better BTW).  It would be great if this warning occurred when not at expected intersections.  And also if it said something rather than just WARNING.
