Browsing the map after creating a course on 830 makes it hang

If I create a course on my 830  Navigation>Couses>Course Creator  and then browse the map, it goes to the map screen and then nothing happens. I don't see the course that it allegedly calculated. Worse that that the 830 stops responding to any button or screen swipes/presses. It does this with Garmin and the open source maps I have loaded.

    It is not *an actual* hang hopefully. Try pressing bottom left corner of the screen, it may let you back to the previous screen. I hope it will work for you as it worked for me.

    macnuts - you are pure genius! Obviously my random screen presses didn't include the bottom left. What a quirky device this is.

    Yes - I've tried course creator a few times over the last 3 firmware iterations and it's still crashing on 4.10 firmware with 2.50 GPS update. Pressing bottom left corner only works sporadically so you need to do it a few times.

    The key thing is that this is a major bug that needs to be ironed out.

    Tried it out and crashes my 830 immediately too. After some frantic pressing on the screen (no signs on screen where should be pressed) it returns after a while to the previous screen. Adding a third location then it sort of starts working ok. (But stopped after adding a fourth, so not completely tested)
