Power Meter pedals compatible with 830 ASIA?

Does anyone know if the Vector 3 pedals are compatible with the 830 ASIA head unit?

Given that Garmin keeps their head units on different firmware versions depending on region, and that this is not communicated on their website, I can't find any reliable information on this pairing...

no issue for Vector 3 connect with my 830 ASIA unit. Connection is much better than my old 520 unit.

Maybe a stupid question: but why regionally different firmwares for a GLOBAL Position System?

Guess for North-Korea may be, but....?

stock 2.7 garmin have not release update for ASIA UNIT.

It's more a case of firmware following a slower release cycle for 2-byte languages (ie. non-Latin scripts), rather than specific regional GPS issues.
