Hi,
I have a brand new 830 that I took out for a ride today. Everything worked pretty well until it lost connectivity with my iPhone XS near the very end of the ride.
Anyways, when I got home I found out that there is a new version of the firmware (3.50) so I connected the 830 to Garmin Connect hoping to install it, but according to GE my 830 which is still on 2.80 is up to date. I have tried to reset the 830 and reconnect it but it still says 2.80 is the latest version.
Could this be because I'm based in Japan and my device is a 830 ASIA device? Have you not rolled out the new version here yet?
Is there any other way of manually downloading and updating the firmware?
(I tried looking for software updates on the device via the built in WiFi bu it also says there are no updates available.)
