Problem pairing Bontrager Ion Pro RT headlight.

The tail light pairs and works perfectly. The headlight does not even seem to be sensed when trying to add sensors. I have tried a hard factory reset on the headlight, didn’t change anything. I’ve tried removing the taillight so that I can pair both of them at the same time no luck.

IDK what happens to the Ion headlight after a reset, but check to make sure wireless connectivity is enabled by checking to see if the status LED flashes blue every 15 seconds.

Thank you for the tip! The tail light (which works) flashes blue when it first comes on. The headlight (which doesn’t work) never flashes blue!

Thank you for your help, looigi! I chatted with Trek via their webpage. I wasn't doing the reset correctly; once I did, the light works perfectly! Amazing lights that come on automatically when I start a ride and turn off when finished!

How to pair the lamp with Garmin correctly. It worked at the very beginning, now I can't. How to reset correctly? help.

I'm having the same problem. Lights are recognized by the Garmin, but the pairing process hangs indefinitely.

Were you able to figure out the problem? I disabled wireless on my Ion Pro RT as well by accident and I'm unable to get it to working again.

How did you properly reset it? Same problem, 15 min press till 2nd flash. But nothing different happens, I can not see the bluelight flashing every 15 secs.

I got mine replaced under warranty, as it seems this is a common issue, and the correspondent made me promise not to turn off BT/ANT+ ever.

Hello, I'm having the same issue. I disabled wireless some times ago and now I'm not able to get it working with my new 830. I contacted Trek, but they are telling me to reset the lamp. After some trials, I'm still not able to connect the Ion Pro RT nor with 830, not with 735. Someone can help me? Thanks in advance.
