On my Edge 830, while following a course with the separate elevation profile page included as one of my data screens, I can zoom in and out on X-axis (distance) and my changed zoom sticks when I go away from the page and later return. Not true on the Y-axis -- every time I go away and return it defaults back to 41 ft per graph unit no matter if I set it to 80 ft, 120 ft or something else. If it's not a bug, all I can think of is that it's trying to be "smart" and give the most zoomed in view possible with the hills on your route? But it's annoying either way. I like defaulting to more zoomed in so that big climbs stand out.
