Several Issues with new Garmin Edge 830

I just got a brand new 830 and found several issues with it.

1. It's software is version 2.70. I've connected it to Garmin Connect and it says it's the latest available version, no updates required. I've connected to Garmin Express and it says the same. How then can I update it to the latest 3.5? Or is this rolled out via regions? I'm currently in Singapore

2. I tried to use the navigation function , however i noticed that there's no options to enter destination via address or postal code. I have to locate the destination by panning the map and dropping the pin. Is this how it's supposed to be? It's different from the various videos i saw online on the 830.

3. The touch screen is extremely sensitive, even before I touch the screen, if my finger hover it for too long, it will simply be "clicked". Is that normal?

4. Last, i tried to register warranty on Garmin website, it doesn't allow me, asking me to register via Garmin Express, I don't see the option. I recall that i can simply go to garmin support, log into my account and add new device to my account, at least that's what i did for my Fenix 3 & 520 Plus.

Feeling really frustrated with a new product that doesn't work out of the box. Disappointed
