Removing Trailforks Maps?

I have an 830 bought in the US and I’m trying to install the Europe maps that I just purchased but Garmin Express complains that I’m out of room on the edge.

How do I de-install maps like Trailforks (which I do not need) from the device?

Plug the Edge into a computer. Go into the Garmin folder on the device via the computer's file browser. Remove the map files you don't want. I would keep a copy on the computer just in case.

Hi, I would like to remote the Trailforks map from my Garmin edge 530. Can you provide me with the name on the Trailforks Map, so I am choicing the right file..

I don't know what the filename is. I would suggest copying a file off the unit then unplug from the computer and see what maps are on there. If you moved the wrong one put it back and move a different one off. Do this until you have moved the one you waned.

Ok, seems like a plan. Do you have an idea of the file extensions for the map files?

img. The file sizes give them away - they are big files.
