Contour lines and other questions

Hey 830 Fa boys,

- is there any chance to enable contour lines on the maps?

- when I am In "following a gpx track" mode

x how can I see the full high profile and not just an extract?

x in map mode it a always switching between "north mode" & "turning map into direction mode" - is this normal behavior?

x when I am leaving the track I want a tone: is there an option to adjust this in the Manu somehow?

The Garmin maps don't have contour lines. If you want them you will have to create/obtain your own contour line map and add it to the unit.

Contour lines show up on the 1000 and 1030.

I suspect they aren't being displayed on other units because of them having smaller screens.

There's an option to draw contour lines on the 830

There's now an option to turn them off on the 1030 (before, they were always displayed).

It is a control option on the 530/830

Activity profile -> Navigation -> Map -> Draw Contours

It's also a control option on the 1030 (with the newest firmware).
