Elevation profile not working when following course

When I instruction the Edge to follow a course the elevation screen shows elevation profile of the course. However, as soon as I start riding, the elevation profile screen shows the elevation that I have already ridden rather the elevation profile that is coming along the course. I am wondering if this problem might have something to do with zooming the distance display on the elevation profile screen.

Seems like a likely software bug to me.

Has anyone else seen this of have any ideas?

No fix so far... I reported this issue multiple times to Garmin and they even replaced my device thinking it was a hardware problem. Of course the issue happened again with a new Edge. I reported it to them again and it's been silent so far ..
