"Phone Connection Error -2"

What does this error mean, and how do I handle it?

It appears while using the IQ Trailforks as well as other IQ apps

I have this exact same problem with my 520 plus whilst trying to download routes on Trailforks. Lots go googling has revealed nothing!

I fixed it - I noticed that I had 2 "Edge 530" bluetooth connections and both were connected to my Garmin device. I deleted ("Forget this Device") one and then the "Phone Connection Error -2" went away. Hope that helps.
