Battery 97%

I have the problem that when I charge the battery, it stops at 97%. Does anyone have this problem too?

Yes, but 98%. Can' get it to show 100% no matter what

At the first charging it has indicated 100%. Strange.

I have the same problem. Charging stops at 97 or 98% no matter how long I keep it connected. Seems to be a software bug to me.

There is a discussion about this in the 530 forum, Garmin says they will fix it in the next release.

Yes. If I leave it on the charger long enough (say, five hours when the battery started at 50%), it will eventually get to 100%, but as soon as I disconnect it from power it drops down to 98-99%.

Also, after the 8.0.0 update, the charge status icon appears every three seconds or so, for too short a period to even see what it says. Eventually I can see that it's three digits instead of two, which is a clue that it's charged up all the way.

same for me on FW 4.10, when you load 100%, plug it off from USB and restart the Edge it will loose battery 1-3%

Yes. This is what happens to my unit. I can get the charge to indicate 100%. When I unplug the charger it drops to 98%.

Yes, mine also drops charge very quickly and will only charge ton 99%
