I can not synchronize Garmin Edge 830 with Shimano E8000

Since yesterday I have the Garmi edge 830 pack although I have not yet been able to go out and try it if I could try to synchronize with my ebike with Shimano E8000 and the only information I could read on the Garmin is the% of the battery of the ebike.
My idea was to have all the information in the garmin as on the screen that brings the ebike and thus remove the screen and only leave the Garmin.
It is necessary to buy Shimano EW-EN100? To be able to have all information such as cadence, help mode, help level, etc ...

No it's not necessary, but if you want to remove the screen, then you'd need to buy EW-EN100.

I have Shimano E8000 paired with Garmin Edge 830 and I see Speed, battery info, cadence, help mode and help level.

Can you help with how you connected you Edge 830 to the E8000?

I have just got a Edge 530 and i cant get it to connect to my E8000, i go to add sensor on the 530 then to E-Bike and the screen says turn on e-bike. I turn it on and nothing happens.

Could you please explain what are the steps to pair E8000 and Garmin 830. I have tried it in a thousand ways and the only thing I can see is% battery, cadence stays at 0 and attendance mode equal to 0. I would be very grateful if you explain how to do it. Thank you

First of all, I had to upload a latest firmware in the Edge, as it was rebooting during pairing, but then it went smooth.

Do you have BT/ANT+ enabled on the bike?

Do you have special Shimano STePS screen in one of the activities on the Edge?

Go into pairing mode on the bike (depends on the display type, but it should be enough to go to menu). Were you able to pair using mobile application?

Hi, I have the Garmin edge 830 updated and my ebike has the Shimano E8000 screen with Bluetooth and ANT + and I have the special screen set Shimano steps on the edge 830. As I understand Shimano E8000 has the private ANT +. You have the shimano E8000 screen?

Do you have Di2 connection?

I wondering if this is blocking the E8000 connection as the Di2 is currently connected to the E8000.

If you have the E7000 screen if you can see all the information why it has ANT + open. But with the E8000 screen you can not because it brings the private ANT + as I have read in several places.

E7000 has private ANT+, too.
