Music controls/display with iOS and 830?

Is there a way to control music or display currently playing music when the music is playing from the iPhone? I'd ideally like to have a data field with controls, but a widget would be nice too.

Absolutely agree... it wound be nice to be able to control next track, pause, etc like I can on my watch... safer to look down at the computer than to look at my wrist...

I wish edge 530 would auto open my garage door as I approach house.... Such a fail without it.

I'm not going to stop listening to music, but it would be much safer than pulling out my phone as I do now.

When I got into my son's new car I felt quite dismayed and sad for us cyclist. I saw his music system displaying all songs info and additional data..... No wonder we are being killed as they can't keep their eyes on the road. Thank god I could afford Kickr and zwift for training and only ride on road for fun.... Not mileage.

I'd just like to point out that music is fully featured on the Forerunner 945. Including local storage and playback. This is not a odd feature. I'm surprised by the responses.
