In version 12.30 i find my diferents sensor (vitesse, power and heart frequence)
At the same time my old Edge800 finds and keeps the connection with the same sensors.
Everything was good before this new version.

Hello everyone,
We have released Official software version 12.4 for the Edge 820. It will revert back to previous software while we investigate reports of sensor dropouts. Information about it can be found…
First off I would like to thank all of you for the information you have provided. It is extremely helpful in resolving the issue permanently.
We would like to collect some additional data so we can get…

My connection issues have been resolved! As almost everyone else, after updating for the new version 12.30 I lost connection to all my sensors or they kept on and off, so my edye 820 became useless. Was…
This is what Garmin says. I've done it a few times in the past and it's worked, but I haven't specifically downgraded from 12.3 to 12.1

Hi,
Same problem as others, 12.10 worked fine, since 12.30, periodic sensors dropouts and finally, no sensors...
I use a Garmin 820 edge, with Garmin heart monitor and Elite Turno HT. This one is seen as 2 sensors : a power sensor and a speed/cadence sensor in ANT+. The HT can also be linked via bluetooth (not my heart sensor).
My training session is driven by thesuffertest app on PC which get data via a garmin usb2 ant+ key. I disabled bluetooth on the PC to be sure having only ant+ connection.
Training session of this morning recorded by PC, all sensors are functional : https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/4758719380
Parts of the session recorded by edge 820 :
1 - from start : all sensors activated : https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/4758593237
2 - later : HT sensors deactivated, only heart sensor activated on edge : https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/4758752352
3 - later : HT Speed sensor activated only : https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/4758752425
4 - later : HT power sensor activated only : https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/4758752533
5 - later recovery : PC is switched off, garmin usb key unplugged, and edge restarded (power off/power on, not just sleep) : https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/4758752603
Hope this will help you.
Hi there,
for a few years i had a similar problem with my vivosmart. The problem at that time was the Bluetooth connection disturbed the Ant+. When I deactivated Bluetooth everything was fine.
Can somebody at 12.30 please test if the problem also occurs with deactivated Bluetooth?
yes it does as i dont use bluetooth.
I'm facing the same issue after installing firmware >2.10. Also 12.30 did not fix the issue. So I have reinstalled 12.10. Looks like the heartrate sensor is now connecting without any disconnects. I did not check the other sensors, like cadans yet. Hope the final fix will be added to a new firmware upgrade asap. Because a firmware downgrade all personal settings were lost.
Can i just check with you, that what I am attempting is correct. I have pulled 12.10 from the link that you gave, and renamed it GUPDATE.GCD then copied it to the Garmin folder of my 820. However, it appears in the Garmin/Apps sub folder, as a ".doc" file. I have then unplugged the 820, but on switching on again, it remains at 12.30 I am guessing that the GUPDATE.GCD file needs to be something other than a ".doc" file. When I click on it in the Apps sub folder, I get asked to choose an application from the App Store (am using a MacAir) but haven't a clue now, as to how to activate 12.10. Any further advice would be gratefully received. Thanks
Buenas.
I agree with you. Garmin should at least be telling us where they are up to, re fixing the problem.. They have had lots of activity updates sent to them, so they should have some idea of what is required, and more importantly, when can we expect a fix. I am reluctant to do a hard reset as i will have to rebuild the data etc . If Garmin (Mathew) would just come back with an update on progress, that would help enormously
