Edge 540 started loading a new version without prompting and I last my ride.

got back from my ride today, I hit stop, looked at a few stats and the device started loading a new version. I lost my ride Any ideas on how to get it back? I nailed a few segments and I was hoping for a couple of PRs.

Something similar happened to me when my 540 updated itself, although the ride wasn't completely lost.

It still appears in activities but with a date of December 31st 1989 and an elapsed time of 1 second resulting in an average speed of 13245.9 MPH!

I'm guessing the fit file would be corrupted beyond repair but haven't investigated further because being my first time using Garmin I took the precaution of also running Strava on my phone as a backup.
