540 27.14 Map My Location Display Icon Size

I know that some users asked to increase the size of the icon for visibility.

However, in the basic scale of the map, the icon showing the current location is

The size is too big, so the ratio doesn't fit.

I request to return to the original size.

Or I think it's a good solution to be able to choose the size of the icon.

While a simple UI switch for size would be preferable it might not be a priority for Garmin, especially with 550/850 just around the next bend, but your wish can be achieved via customisation of the MapTheme

The basic info about MapTheme customisation has been contributed by many people and is contained in this older 530 post but applies to all x30 & x40 devices (but not x50 as Garmin has withdrawn MapTheme support for those)

More specific info relating to customisation of the icon is in the posts previously linked to above and you might search for maptheme in other Garmin device forums to get other perspectives, there are dozens of posts as the MapTheme can fix a lot of problems related to the map. I am off on holiday in coming days so won’t be following posts here.
