I have a Garmin Edge 540. It died on a ride. I plugged it in when I got back and saved the ride. The ride is saved on the Garmin.
But Garmin Connect would not sync. So the activity is stuck on my Garmin.
I deleted the Edge device from Garmin Connect, had my phone's Bluetooth forget the device, re-added it, etc. It is now syncing again, so rides I've done since have synced to Garmin Connect.
Except that one ride.
I got on with Garmin Support, they shipped me 2 cables and told me to use a Windows machine.
So now I'm plugging in my Garmin to my PC, but Garmin Express still can't find my device and it doesn't appear as an external drive in File Finder.
Support said the Garmin cables would work and that a Windows computer would work. But it's still not working. Super frustrating.
I'm running Windows 11 Home.
